About Fin Free Thailand

Fin Free Thailand is a community + business movement encouraging hotels and restaurants in Thailand to stop selling shark fin soup and other unsustainable seafood. Our mission is to raise awareness about the devastating impact of shark finning on our marine ecosystems and to advocate for the protection of sharks.

We bring together local communities, divers, schools, businesses and policy makers to promote sustainable + ethical practices in tourism and hospitality. Join us in our efforts to protect these keystone species and preserve the balance of our oceans.

Part of the global Fin Free movement, Fin Free Thailand was initiated in 2013 by Love Wildlife Foundation and FREELAND Foundation with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
